The Pennsylvania Veterinary Foundation (PVF), which is the charitable arm of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, strives to help veterinarians create a healthier future for animals by supporting animal welfare programs and services, and providing assistance to veterinary professionals.
Our work is focused in three areas:
The Last Chance Fund: This animal care fund provides much needed treatment for both owned and unowned pets through financial grants when limited or no financial means exist to pay for care.
Henry's Helping Paws Fund: This newly launched program is a partnership with Meals on Wheels in Chester County to provide pet food to senior citizens to feed their pets allowing senior citizens to care for their beloved companions.
The PVF Scholarship Fund: This program continues to be a viable source of support for Pennsylvania veterinary and veterinary technology students enrolled at AVMA accredited veterinary schools and veterinary technology programs who are struggling with significant student debt.
